So what is a dream home? for some people it's a little bamboo home with a thatch roof. For others it's a grand mansion. For others, it's something in between.
What if you could find a place where you had your pick of whatever Ecuador dream home you desired - all in a new community along the stunning Ecuador coast?
Mirador San Jose is a new beachfront urbanization with lots ranging in price from $7,000 to $75,000. The complex will feature a mix of single-family dwellings, condos and a commercial area. Also included in the plans are a private clubhouse, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pools, soccer field and a private beach set a few meters above the public beach.

The project is headed by Canadian developers and is about 30 percent sold with a mix of foreign and Ecuadorian buyers in both the residential and commercial sectors.
Purchasers at Mirador San Jose are free to build their own homes using any construction company they want, or they can take advantage of built-in design and construction services. Construction prices range from $200 per square meter to $470 per square meter ($25 - $50 per square foot) depending on the type of construction you choose.

In addition to being a well-designed modern urbanization with all amenities, Mirador San Jose is also an ecological community. Great attention is being paid to preserving and replanting native plants in the area. Homes are equipped with environmentally friendly biodigestor units that uses gray water for yard irrigation. Treated solid waste is removed every six months and used as fertilizer in other areas.
Mirador San Jose is located about 45 minutes south of Manta along the Ruta del Spondylous (formerly Ruta del Sol). It is 15 minutes north of the fishing village of Puerto Cayo and also close to the inland city of Jipijapa.
